Kairoli ghat to Sandhan Valley

We started our Journey from Dombivli.on 14/12/2012 to explore the Valley of Shadow-Sandhan Valley which is located in Nashik region.We were 4 members from same location.We gathered at a place so called Naka and started our BIKE journey around 10pm. The temperature was dipping down as we were heading towards Nashik region

The Cold Climate made us to stay near Ghoti which is 35 km aways from Samrad. At around 7.30 we again headed towards Samrad. and reached there around 9.30.then we had our Breakfast At Yashwants place.

We started our Trek from Kairoli Ghat .We just had
to walk down the slope which would be approx 70Degree. We reached our base camp at around 4.30pm.

After a tiring walk we were into a small swimming pool situated at the base camp.we enjoyed a nice time in the pool the Blue was so clear that we can see the depth
    

After having a bath We captured the Party place where we were going to stay and enjoy food made by Anil (Sherpa) .he made our dinner by 8 pm ,and we were in our bags at 9 pm with a spectacular view of stars.

At around 7.30 am we wake up for our breakfast and o reach early as we have climb up the Sandhan Valley which was the main spot to be visited for which we traveled

The Sandhan Valley:  

We started our trek towards adventure Valley .There are total 3 patches which we have to climb out of which the last patch is of around 50ft. The path towards Sandhan Valley is very similar to Nalichi Vat at Harishchandra Gad.

First Patch

This is the first patch which was leaded by Anil so the New comer Nitesh would climb up with the hep of rope.

There was a big Boulder and the path was from the gap of two boulders it was really an interesting point.As we have not been through it before

 Second patch was much easier as we have travel cross.here also Anil headed upwards to help Nitesh to climb it up

50FT patch

 The Third Patch:

This was the best part of the trek.
As we were told there would be some guys from the village coming up with equipment as it 50ft patch as was very difficult for our new comer.But it was waste of time to stay there and wait for the people coming in there .after half an hrs of Argument we came o result tht we would clear the patch in 2 stages .

First i tried to get up from it but as i cannot reach the ledge which was in middle of the patch need someone who has good height so one of my friend "KIRAN" tired it and we were successful in climbing the patch . Anil followed KIRAN to take the bag up then all the bags were sent up, we completed the patch in approx 1 hr.

Then we rested for a while after completing the patch as we were going to enter the Valley OF Shadow

The Valley Begins

 There was a great view of the valley which is approx 1 km covered with 2 sided hills reaching to the height of 150fts

U can see the sun rays getting in making there way from the hills the view was really unforgettable.There was small pond which we have to travel through it taking our sacks on ur head as to protect them from getting wet the water level was around at our chest line 

  

After 1 hr of walking the valley we reached the village of Samrad were our lunch and our Bikes were waiting for us.

Our trek from Kairoli Ghat to Sandhan Valley made us face lot of challenges and but there was excitement to the Brim

We returned back to our place at around 7.30 pm the total bike journey was of 332.7 km which was unforgettable
